Founded by Ashley Burns, a seasoned nurse with over 10 years of experience, a corporate trainer, and a healthcare administrator, Hanson House continues this tradition of hospitality and care by offering specialized services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), geriatric patients, and those affected by dementia.
Ashley’s professional background and passion for hosting and supporting individuals are woven into every aspect of Hanson House. From her early career in dementia care as a certified nursing assistant to her recent experience hosting foreign exchange students, Ashley brings a deep understanding of person-centered care, cultural inclusivity, and the importance of making every resident feel valued.
